The nose is really appealing but the palate is rough.
Single Bourbon Cask
No age statement
Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Elegant, perfumy. Candyfloss, marshmallow. Evaporated milk fudge. A lovely floral note. Violet. Some summer fruit. Raspberry.
Palate: Sweet at first but quickly shifting to a prickly and warm sensation. And the flavours are completely different from the nose. Almost fungal. Cereal bowl. A touch of mustiness.
Finish: Warm, fizzy.
Comment: The nose is really appealing but the palate is rough.
Nose: Pale but hot light grass clippings bourbon accents peppery lemon apple with eater and it needs water marzipan some honey and spearmint fragrant white lris.
Palate: Clean sharp and acidic needs water but not too much, gentle clean aperitif style.
Finish: Short and sassy.
Comment: Just lacks a little weight but a good aperitif.
