ABV 40%
That whisky is well structured but a tad too sweet. The spicy character on the palate does not make up for it enough.

Nose: Reminiscent of the previous. Myrtle and black fruit but combined with a grain note. Obviously a blended whisky. Sweet with peppery note.
Palate: Velvety, quite thick. Sweet and smooth. The sweetness is tempered by the peppery flavours but sugar lingers on the tongue. A grainy note too.
Finish: Slightly astringent, dry.
Comment: That whisky is well structured but a tad too sweet. The spicy character on the palate does not make up for it enough.
Score: 7.4

Nose: That menthol note again although this time there is more malty grain too. A sweet edge.
Palate: Has a syrupiness to it, sweet and smooth. The spices fight for recognition and the chance to show themselves through the sweetness.
Finish: Drying.
Comment: Well put together but needs more spice pep to it.
Score: 7.5
