Nose

Reminiscent of the previous. Myrtle and black fruit but combined with a grain note. Obviously a blended whisky. Sweet with peppery note.

Palate

Velvety, quite thick. Sweet and smooth. The sweetness is tempered by the peppery flavours but sugar lingers on the tongue. A grainy note too.

Finish

Slightly astringent, dry.

Comment

That whisky is well structured but a tad too sweet. The spicy character on the palate does not make up for it enough.
