Nose

Slightly dusty, with lots of dark fruit — blackberries and blueberries — alongside honey and butter tarts, and just a bit of soot.

Palate

Warming and full, with some initial floral lavender notes, then oranges, ashy smoke, and caramel-coated bananas.

Finish

A long finish — this whisky really sticks around. A nice bit of spice and well balanced.

Comment

A complex and very tasty whisky that makes me want to go in for another sip.
