Nose
Attractive yet unusual. Sandalwood smoke, resinous, with citrus, syrup and ginger. Apricots, sultanas, mango, pine, before dried tea and honey.
Palate
Slightly unbalanced – ashy smoke, a nice maltiness, with fudge, caramel, bitter coffee. Woody, too, with hints of dried fruits. It’s effective and pleasant.
Finish
Long, warming, with the ginger, sandalwood and cloves not quite meshing.
Comment
A ton of character, charm and individuality - which is rare these days.
