Nose: Sugar refineries in the summer at peak flow; almost rum-esque in its sweetness. Cornbread with marmalade. Brown sugar cubes. Cinnamon sugar and apple pie.
Palate: Honey sweetness hits first then the spices unload. Cherries in brandy, cardamom seeds. Plenty of oak notes grip too.
Finish: Cherry sweetness all the way. Feels bigger than its ABV. Dries nicely with all those spices.
Comment: Serious Manhattan territory here. Delicious and all the hallmarks of a stonking Bourbon.

Taster
Nose: Like eating coconut dusted popcorn and orange and cinnamon oat flapjacks while a salted pork is cooking in the oven with torched rosemary and lashings of ginger infused treacle syrup.
Palate: A whole lot of spicy thrills with ginger, ground cumin, cayenne pepper and liquorice with an added touch of crushed juniper berries and lavender yoghurt rounding up the finish.
Finish: A sweet softness begins to appear amongst the more dominating spices.
Comment: A tingling spicy sensation that sets the taste buds alight.
Score: 8.8
