Nose

Citrus peel and beeswax begin, before brown sugar and marzipan with a touch of red fruits.

Palate

There’s lots of caramel and honeycomb, with an almost brandy-like note. Wonderful texture here, very silky but full.

Finish

Nice fruit development as the dram dissipates — there is some blackcurrant, and just a hint of spice.

Comment

Enjoyable, certainly, but not the most complex. A gentle sipper.
