Nose

More clove like polished rosewood casket. Thicker and sweeter than most, some brazil nut and toffee. Rye is in the background.

Palate

Soft with some oak and cocoa. Quite gentle to start but the rye slowly unsticks itself from the toffee and begins to grow and grow.

Finish

Lime and orange cut with oil of cloves and ginger...then typical youthful dustiness.

Comment

This is a clever, tricksy rye. Worth a look.
