Nose

All-American at first. Pickled gherkin and mustard, cornbread and haybarns. Also lemon, black pepper and wood shavings, before a delicate floral violet. Oh, and black tea too. \r\n

Palate

Simultaneously sweet and earthy, with a raspy texture \r\nand decent acidity. Vanilla pod, charred wood, cocoa powder, newly cut oak and sharp kumquat. More black tea leaves and a dusty character.

Finish

That well-known combination of vanilla and jalapeños.
