Nose

Quite austere at first. Crushed peanuts or cashews. Linseed oil. Baked apples begin to show, with traces of fresh wholemeal bread. Meaty, boiled ham, then vegetative and herbal.

Palate

Silky and very gentle stuff: baked apples, drifting into cider territory, with a biscuity maltiness showing. Hops. Custard Cream biscuits. Vanilla, dried apricots and pears.

Finish

Medium-length, full of orchard fruits, and heather honey.

Curious at first, but it ends up being a bit of a charmer.
