Nose

Full-on mature rye which holds its power despite its age. Full-on rye\rflour/sourdough starter combo allied to anise, laurel, face powder and violet\rroot. Complex.

Palate

Spice from the start along with good acidity, sour cherry/plum and green\rapple. When it relaxes in the centre before it tightens once more..

Finish

... and brings out some zesty lemon and menthol.

A very very classy mature rye. Highly recommended for the decadent\rboulevardiers among you.
