Another Rye Whiskey? The nose is a bit dour but the palate is more balanced. An interesting character.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Fruity but with a sour note. Cider apple, even cider cellar with a note of damp wood. In the back, curry. Keeps sour. Obviously a high content of rye.

Palate: Crisp. In the same key as the nose. Sour plum compote. Varnish. Hint of Turkish delight.

Finish: Sweeter. Slightly nutty. Caramelised pecan. Lingering.

Comment: Another Rye Whiskey? The nose is a bit dour but the palate is more balanced. An interesting character.

Taster

Nose: Dry and dusty, those classic rye traits. Has some mellow spices and sweetness to it too.

Palate: A short dryness laced with sour fruit, cherries, plum skins. Acetone.

Finish: Sweet with walnut and dates.

Comment: Shows off those classic rye qualities. Magnificent.
