Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Intense rye notes. Acidic. Lemon, sourdough starter, cherry Tunes, lightly dusty. Allspice. With water there’s cumin and a rock candy character.

Palate: Light start. Good mouth-watering acidity (which you want from rye). Powdered rose petal, lemon and lime. Dusty.

Finish: A rye-like lift. The perfume returns.

Comment: Great balance between the sour and the sweet.

Score: 7.9

Taster

Nose: Big, fragrant. A whole display of antique shop aromas. Polished oak, precious exotic wood. Sour fruit. Unripe plum. Touch of old leather. Hint of Turkish delight Cadbury chocolate.

Palate: Round. In perfect harmony with the nose. But a tone under.

Finish: Rather short but quite pleasant. Just a little oaky touch.

Comment: A bourbon with a rich percentage of rye? A pleasant after dinner dram, especially with a coffee.
