Nose: Rich,refined.Antique shop,polished oak floor.Granny's wardrobe :cloved orange,rose petals,cinnamon.Wet ground coffee.Cocoa powder.

Palate: Gently flowing.Quite crisp and dry. Perfect balance with the nose. Oaky flavours are more precise but well mastered.

Finish: Long, lingering on spices and orange peel.

Comment: A superb bourbon. As neat and perfectly dressed and combed as Richard Paterson!

Taster

Nose: Big and full, with vanilla, candy, over-ripe plum and peach, dusty and with lots of tannin.

Palate: A big boy bourbon - full on candy and rich fruits, saddle leather, cherry, cocoa and lots of sharp astringent woody notes.

Finish: Long and woody, with sweet spice fruits.Planning to drink something else? Don't bother.

Comment: Whiskey's answer to the new AC/DC album:old, male, predictable but damn fine, too.
