Nose

Peanut oil, soy sauce, black pepper, shiitake mushroom, and seared beef. Subtle peat and charcoal. Apple cider vinegar. Black cherry and rich vanilla. Hints of liquorice and sticky ginger cake.

Palate

Medium. Barbequed beef, with the savoury stir-fry notes from the nose. Dark chocolate-dipped cherries, rich oat-milk mocha, and toffee sauce. Sesame seed and lentil cracker.

Finish

Medium-long, with cocoa powder, toasted oak, and some tannins.

An unapologetically rich and meaty single malt.
