Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Fat, sweet and a little slick. Creamy toffee, sponge cake, stewed apple, date and gingerbread.
Palate: Quite thick and slightly syrupy with a mix of dried and stewed soft fruits.
Comment: LOTS of sherry and fat, rich flavours. One for those who like their whiskies well covered.
Nose: Perfumy, spicy, musky.
Palate: Rounded, slippery-smooth. Very malty indeed. Creamy. Sweet. Some orangey notes.
Finish: Spicy. Minty.
Comment: Very mild, but a blend assembled with great skill and subtlety.
