Obviously old but still very well balanced. Sean Connery.

Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: There's some sulphur notes when unreduced but water pulls out incense, lapsang souchong tea, dried apricot. An 'old' aroma: all walnut, cedar and orange honey.
Palate: Sweet start with toffee and cream. The wood is a little grippy, but not overpowering.
Finish: Dry, long and lively.
Comment: Obviously old but still very well balanced. Sean Connery.
Nose: Fruity, orangey, musky-spicy. Hint of leafy peatiness. A rich, complex aroma.
Palate: Silky, enwrapping. Powerful orange-peel, but also maltiness and nuittiness, and some underlying dryness from a touch of peat.
Finish: Light, clean, dry.
Comment: Remarkably fruity, but in a lively interplay with all the other elements.
