Tasting Notes

Nose

Firm 'grainy', grassy with some roast almond. Water accentuates the firmness and brings out some juicy/oily qualities. Gets bigger in time but always dry.

Palate

Dry and sweet at the same time. The soft gentle grain does play its part, but overall this is a big whisky with a firm structure.

Finish

Surprisingly sweet.
