A little sulphurous on the nose but the palate seems to pull it together.

Finish: Malty bread crust then the spices dry.

Taster

Nose: Slightly overcooked fudge, chopped Brazil nuts and a touch of rubber inner\rtube. With a little time and water some dried lavender develops and wet hay.

Palate: Sweet and spicy, with barley sugar, real liquorice root, very tannic builder's tea and sweetened malt.

Finish: The maltiness remains the dominant flavour, giving this a lengthy finish.

Comment: The touches of rubber are a little disappointment, but the other notes make up for any indiscretions.
