Nose

Pulsating peat, hint of lavender and mint. Some vanilla sweetens it with the malt.

Palate

Rich, oily, fat, chewy and then peaty malt that is almost perfectly sweet and clean.

Finish

Multi-layered with the peat forming the mighty base and then some supremely toasty malt notes arrive.

Comment

This is a very high quality, complex version of an underestimated malt at an optimum age. Fabulous!
