Nose

To start with there's roasted malt, a hint of draff, then there's fruit, vanilla, and, as water is added, smoke and then oak. An intriguing combination.

Palate

Concentrated and packed with dried fruit, baked apple. Sweet with turfy smoke.

Finish

Long, slightly smoky.

Comment

Not as generous as some Imperials, but has some style.
