Tasting Notes

Nose

Very gentle and soft with sweet spice notes. Vanilla, toffee, lemon/orange and cigar smoke.

Palate

As the nose suggests with an extra (Greek yoghurt?) creaminess. Soft, sweet and gentle though the spiciness stops it becoming too soft. Great texture.

Finish

Long and soft. As on the palate it's the feel which seduces you as much as the flavour.

Comment

Can a whisky be mellifluous? If so, this is it. Needless to say the distillery has been bulldozed. Ironic, huh?
