Nose
Big chocolate orange aromas to start. Oak-driven sweetness. Caramelised fruits, vanilla custard and a lightly methol quality. Complex.
Palate
Good presence. Barley sugar sweetness. Shows true complexity mid-palate where the base spirit shifts from under the sweet oak. Fleshy fruits, nutmeg, mintiness. Dazzling spice.
Finish
Ginger, toasted oak and some black fruits.
Comment
Balanced and though oak-driven, not oak-dominated.
