Nose

Intense caramel and butterscotch. We’re in sticky toffee pudding territory. There’s scones with clotted cream and raspberry and blackcurrant compote, nutmeg, with some creaminess and a subtle wood smoke.

Palate

A little hot. There’s more of that caramel, with some red apple and a little wood spice. A little water sweetens things further and tames the heat.

Finish

Medium length. Stewed red apple (skin on), caramel and subtle wood smoke lingers.

Comment

It feels like it needs a little bit more time in the warehouse.
