Nose

Soft, nutty Oloroso and peat smoke. Briny with cinder toffee, treacle and fruit. Medicinal with boiled sweets, heather and vanilla custard. Toasty oak and a touch of manure with water.

Palate

Manzanilla-like, nutty with treacle, prune, walnuts, liquorice, charcoal and peat. Bitter chocolate on the middle. Water brings out barley and honey. \n

Finish

Long and smoky with mouth-coating dusty peat, burnt wood and treacle. Water emphasises the sweeter peat notes and heather. \n
