Taster

Nose: Young and immediately smoky: medicinal, bandages ointment and coal tar soap. Sweet underneath. A\rhoney badger with its teeth bared.

Palate: Ash. Big smoky impact with some creaminess. Lighter and creamier than you expect, but collapses when\rwater is added (so don't!)

Finish: Ashes (to ashes)

Comment: Strangely lacking in weight in the middle, this either needs to be bolstered a little - or bottled at a\rhigher strength.

Taster

Nose: Intensely marine. Thick peat smoke rising up above Ardbeg (?) on a drich day. Sooty. Then a warmer straw\raroma. Peaches in cream. With water,a TCP touch.

Palate: Smooth, refreshing. Sweet cereals. A tender caress on the palate but in the same time, keeps a dry sooty feel.

Finish: Dry,slightly leafy. A nutty aftertaste.

Comment: A refreshing Ileach. Straightf orward, head in the kiln ! Smoke phobes, keep away from that fellow.
