A pleasant islander but kind of losing its colours like an old watercolour painting.

Nose: Light, restrained. Smoky but more ozonic than phenolic. A drizzle on a dying bonfire. Citrusy. Lemon posset. Lime drops.
Palate: Round, sweet. The same dimmed profile as on the nose. Pleasant and refreshing but vanishing quickly.
Finish: Smokier than at the start. Minty. Fading on a grassy note.
Comment: A pleasant islander but kind of losing its colours like an old watercolour painting.
Score: 7.8

Nose: Very tight at first the smoke unfurls. More distant fire than full on effect. Orange and lemon notes. A touch of cream.
Palate: Sweet with that distant smoke. However it does not hang around. Some fruit lingers. A little smoke and a menthol quality.
Finish: The smoke has arrived with the menthol.
Comment: Entertaining and shows its age.
Score: 7.8
