Nose

Lightly toffeed, with fresh lemon, salt, camphor and mint. Shows sweet, juicy apricot, peach and pear with barley, earthy peat, violets and manure.

Palate

Opens with barley and sweet vanilla. Drying peat, salt and alcohol with underlying lightly honeyed fruit and camphor notes.

Finish

Neat it is very dry and alcoholic with mouth-watering lemon and herbal peat. Diluted there’s a touch of barley, apricot and wood spice. \n

Neat, this is superb. I love the way the nose slowly unwinds to reveal layers of complexity.
