Nose
A bit like rarebit – toasted sourdough, cheese, and sharp mustard. Then ground almonds, caramelised sugar, lemon zest, oat biscuits, cooked meringue, cut grass, and cilantro.
Palate
Medium. Fresh doughnuts with powdered sugar. Vanilla bean paste, golden syrup, baked apricot, fresh strawberry, and brown-sugar oat latte. Hints of coriander and wholegrain mustard.
Finish
Medium, on toasted pine nuts.
Comment
Quite boldly flavoured for a whisky at its proof.
