A good early evening dram.

Nose: Orange blossom, honey, ripe mango and pineapple. Blossoms with water bringing out florals, summer meadows. Lemon sponge cake and \nmixed peel.
Palate: Quite a surprising gingerbread heat, and golden syrup. Orange iced lolly and very juicy. The oak influence seems young and a little drawing on the palate.
Finish: Short and simple.
Comment: A good early evening dram.
Nose: Creamy coconut, vanilla and blackberry leaves open the conversation, followed by rich fruity/red berry compote. Given a little time, a slight dusty book note develops and some subtle milk chocolate.
Palate: Sharp at first, but the fruits and sweetness really begin to deliver some character. There’s a taste of almost new linen, alongside blackberries, and a clean citrus zest.
Finish: Again quite clean and spirity, but quite direct, with a lingering fruitiness.
Comment: It’s hard not to really like this, despite the fact that it shows areas of immaturity.
