Nose
Hugely ripe with good weight. Paprika smoky spiciness, dried orange peel, shoe leather. A balance between dry nuttiness, earthy sweetness and deep fruits. Lime and chocolate.
Palate
Medium-bodied and smooth with some prickly heat (that paprika again) which perks things up. Fresh start, into liquorice, roast chestnut, mulberry and a hint of smoke. Ginger and salt.
Finish
Orange zest. Slightly oily.
Comment
