Nose: Big bowl of banana custard, freshly baked banana bread, mingling with dried apricots, sawdust and boot polish.
Palate: Smooth tropical-fruit start makes way for a spicy explosion with pepper and a woody character.
Finish: Very dry, with those banana and vanilla hints lingering on past the rest. Cocoa powder and wood varnish.
Comment: Bananarama! If you’re a big fan of the bendy yellow fruit, this is the drop for you.

Taster
Nose: It’s all about the fruit. Strawberries, apricots, sultanas and oranges, with honey and melons. Grapefruit. Once that fades the vanilla is more apparent.
Palate: A lovely oily texture, and similar fruit to the nose. In addition come raisins, touches of redcurrants, raspberry jam spread across wholemeal toast. Honey, in fact almost mead-like.
Finish: Fairly short, and curiously the sweetness fades quickly leaving woodiness and pepper.
Comment: Good blending, easy everyday drinking. Just a little too easy.
Score: 7.3
