Nose: Hay bales, slightly sour milk, cream soda, fresh mango, peach slices in syrup and under-ripe banana. A bubblegum note emerges with a little dusting of icing sugar and malted milk biscuit. Rhubarb and custard boiled sweet vibes.
Palate: Hazelnut milk chocolate, a little caramel sponge. That fruity note remains with more peach slices, homemade rum-raisin cheesecake.
Finish: Resin and hazelnut lead out the gentle finish.
Comment: It’s making me want to eat a lot of my favourite desserts.

Taster
Nose: Ripe mango and pineapple, strawberry laces and blackcurrant gummies. Peaches in syrup, demerara sugar, and cinder toffee. Rum-raisin ice cream and black treacle.
Palate: Medium body, more of those ripe tropical fruits. Chewy caramels and toffee apple. Some blackcurrant (gummies) and cherry (lips) sweets.
Finish: Fades on caramel biscuit and subtle cola cube. Gently drying.
Comment: An easy-going malt for those with a sweet tooth.
Score: 7.9
