ABV 47.5%
Inviting and quite intriguing, love the chilli prickle, something to try, with almost a margarita base.

Nose: Sweet and spicy, layers of cherry wood and cedar boxes. Then vanilla fudge and leather, a little faint incense like a church after Christingle, orange zest and candle wax.
Palate: Spices start to build, cinnamon, all spice and cloves, just a little chilli and honey prickle. Dried tropical fruit, papaya and mango, that leads into banana bread and full fat cream.
Finish: Long and decidedly spicy.
Comment: Inviting and quite intriguing, love the chilli prickle, something to try, with almost a margarita base.

Taster
Nose: Notes of peardrops, strawberry laces, geraniums and elderflower syrup. Sweet and floral with a slight vegetal note.
Palate: The floral notes are overtaken by a sour vegetal note of braised red cabbage, parmesan and oregano potatoes with an edge of bitterness with dark chocolate coffee beans.
Finish: Short finish with a bitter twist to the end.
Comment: A box of Turkish Delights, followed by an espresso and a cheeseboard.
Score: 8.2
