Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Gives nothing away apart from a vague toffee note. Cherry blossom, caramel and vanilla toffees. Fresh air dried washing and then some sugared almonds.

Palate: Lots of sweetness, mandarin juice, tinned tropical fruit and Tip Top cream. Vanilla laden sugar. Banana bread and brandy snap biscuits.

Finish: Quite timid, disappears quickly leaving that great toffee sweetness.

Comment: Doesn’t give much away, to the point that it feels that all it gives is sweetness.

Score: 7.2

Palate: Apple crumble with toasted oats, elderflower, heather honey and a sprinkle of icing sugar. Hints of acrylic paint, torched rosemary and carrot dipped in houmous.

Finish: Oily consistency with a floral finish.

Comment: Floral and fruity. Typical Speyside characteristics.
