This was not just perfectly drinkable, but astonishingly tasty. Really good body and flavour, it was a pleasure to drink.

Nose: Dark chocolate and coffee introduced this aroma with a sweet back-palate of dates and figs making this very inviting. Well balanced, complex and interesting.\n
Palate: Really very, very easy to drink indeed. This is the sort of blending that makes Scotch whisky approachable and drinkable. Think toffee apples, subtle spices and watermelon. A great combo.\n
Finish: Medium in length, sweet with some lovely red apple tones.\n
Comment: This was not just perfectly drinkable, but astonishingly tasty. Really good body and flavour, it was a pleasure to drink.

Taster
Nose: Crisp almost tart citrus, crunchy barley and minerals to begin with. Lightly honeyed, tropical honeydew melon and dusty American oak add body and weight. Late hints of coffee and herbal grain.
Palate: Crisp, mineral and citric. Quite a bracing character but it fleshes out when the mature fruit and oak arrive. Hints of coffee, dried fruit and malt on the middle. \n
Finish: Good length, if a little dry and austere with lingering grain, dusty spice, citrus and mineral notes. \n
Comment: Ooh, now that has a beautiful palate cleansing finish!
