Nose

Warming caramel butter opens up the nose, then some dark runny honey and a touch of soot. There’s a little cinnamon spice and wet books.

Palate

Slight medicinal backbone here along with the rich caramel and nutty notes — toasted walnuts and pecans. Some buttered brown toast, too, and stroopwafels.

Finish

Nice earthy smoke sits happily beside a spiced toffee.
