Difficult to taste a Talisker blind ! The strength tells all (though Lagavulin played a trick in this tasting).The\rlegendary pepperiness is a memory.

Taster

Nose: Caramel. Stewed fruit. Distant smoke. A faint note of seaweed. Then a shy oak note. All aromas seem dimmed.

Palate: Sweet. A bit soft. A hint of stewed plums. Where is the expected peppery note ? Just a wee tickle.

Finish: Quite sweet and dimmed like the rest.

Comment: Difficult to taste a Talisker blind ! The strength tells all (though Lagavulin played a trick in this tasting).The\rlegendary pepperiness is a memory.
