Nose

Blackberries and smoke to start, before a bit of crème pâtissière and custard. There’s a dash of coconut and a bit of banana too.

Palate

Roasty, toasty pineapple alongside sweet barbecue smoke. Honey, cantaloupe, and toffee also play a note or two.

Finish

The smoke comes to the fore. Lingers long on the palate, alongside that fruitiness.

A punchy but balanced whisky that makes you want to go in for another sip.
