Nose: Spicy wholemeal bread dough, plasticine, sultanas, dried apples, and aniseed balls. Bison grass, celery, and pencil shavings. Cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate: Light bodied. Cookie dough, fresh blueberry, vanilla ice cream, allspice, roasted pumpkin and roasted sunflower seeds. Nutmeg latte.
Finish: Short, on pumpkin and nutmeg.
Comment: Liquid pumpkin pie. A quintessential autumn dram.

Taster
Nose: Really light and breezy, with malted milk biscuits, chocolate-covered Florentine biscuits, candied peel and buttered corn on the cob.
Palate: More tangy here, still with the mellow grain notes, but then there’s orange peel and zest, caramel pennies and ginger chunks in syrup.
Finish: The syrupy chunks of ginger linger on for a medium finish, bringing sweet and spiced notes.
Comment: A nicely balanced and mellow sipper, certainly approachable and with just enough complexity and character.
Score: 8
