Nose

Salted butter and a hint of beeswax. Toasted oak, a little allspice, apricot jam, expressed orange zest, and light floral notes, like lavender. Crème anglaise, heavy with vanilla.

Palate

Medium bodied. Stone fruits – apricot, peach – with caramel and lots more vanilla. A hint of bread and butter pudding and rum-raisin ice cream. Sweet cinnamon and ground ginger warmth. A hint of fresh fig.

Finish

Medium. On plum and rising bread dough.
