Nose

Burnt (and I mean black) toast with salted butter. Oily garage cloths and a little medicinal note. Molasses and fresh vanilla pod.

Palate

Medium bodied. Sweet, marinated pork with barbequed peach slices. Mango with a hint of chilli and smoked paprika. Later come maple syrup, milk chocolate chunks and blackcurrant cordial.

Finish

Medium-long, with peaches and pineapple left to roast on the embers of that barbeque.

Comment

A commendable balance of smoke and sweetness that I could sip all night.
