Taster

Nose: Lovely thick-cut marmalade, alongside an apple strudel with crystallised brown sugar on top and a hint of cinnamon.

Palate: All of the breakfast pastry notes coming from this, with freshly baked buttery croissants, then slices of Pink Lady apples with almond butter.

Finish: A lovely delicate finish that lingers with the almond butter note.

Comment: Delicate and fresh, like a summer morning. It’s given me a hankering to live somewhere warm enough to eat breakfast outside.

Taster

Nose: Blood orange, lime juice, pink grapefruit peel and papaya. Physalis and nectarine. Some malted milk drink. A banana bread note with butter and candied walnut topping.

Palate: Medium-full. Intense orange and lime juice notes, with pineapple fritter and more banana bread with sultanas, walnuts and brown sugar.

Finish: Medium-long. Fades on the banana bread and walnut note.

Comment: A truly excellent Irish whiskey I could drink all day long.
