Nose

Peardrops, Jelly Babies and pine resin.The initial sweetness is slowly followed by baked salmon. Pink peppercorns and raisins linger.

Palate

There’s a sooty sweetness that jumps forward. Strawberry jelly, ginger beer, grapefruit and bread and butter pudding with a bitterness of used coffee grinds at the end.

Finish

While the sweetness tails off quickly, a chalky bitterness stubbornly lengthens the palate.
