Nose: Light and clean. Whipping cream, hazelnut, white pudding/beer batter and a little hint of banana.
Palate: Sweet muesli alongside pineapple but also cream. There's a light yeasty notes as well as charred wood and vanilla.
Finish: Light and clean.
Comment: Very well made. Finland emerges as a whisky nation.
Nose: Earthy. Humus, wet leaves, bracken. A light floral note rises up. A mixture of hawthorn and lilac. Multilayered. Vanilla creeps in gently. Then almond milk. A a touch of mint.
Palate: Round and smooth. With this enticing lightness that the nose exhaled. Oak is well integrated. Dry nuttiness. Hint of grapefruit peel. Sweeter with water
Finish: Dry, nutty, clean.
Comment: A pleasant dram, surprisingly well structured and rich for a young whisky.
