Interesting to go back and compare the two bottlings. Both took a while to unravel but worth the wait.

Nose: Quite elusive and well meshed. Soft fruity notes like baked pear and apple skin. A slightly heavier note underneath, banana chips and lemon drizzle cake.
Palate: Ripening apples with caramel toffee sauce. With water the apples turn green. Sparkling mineral water. Marzipan.
Finish: Curiously fizzy, long and then mulchy.
Comment: Interesting to go back and compare the two bottlings. Both took a while to unravel but worth the wait.

Nose: Perfumy. Floral. Honeysuckle. Orange blossom honey. Vibrant and fresh. Delicate but intense and sharp in the same time. Lemon biscuits. With water, more citrus.
Palate: Silky. Sweet and crisp. Alcohol is beautifully mastered. Malty and biscuit. Slightly fizzy. Almond milk. Juicy pears.
Finish: Crisp and dry, soothing on soft spices.
Comment: A whispering whisky with a steady voice! So refreshing.
