Nose: A little soapy but pungent and herbal with a lightly astringent coastal character. A touch of coffee and malt comes through and the herbal notes take on a young rye-like demeanour with time.
Palate: Crisp and fresh, but again slightly soapy. Relatively straight-forward with barley, salt and herbal notes. \n
Finish: Intense and herbal with a lingering saltiness. \n
Comment: A bit simple but pleasantly bracing.

Taster
Nose: Light and vibrant. Floral, like chocolate-covered rose creams, sweet wood, honey, caramel, and sweet currants.
Palate: A lovely combination of a light texture with good warmth behind it. Notes of spiced honey, light apple, and rolled oats, followed by plums and earthy wood chips.
Finish: A light finish of honey, dry wood, faint tobacco, and dried banana chips.
Comment: Clean and fresh; an excellent choice for Spring, with its combination of comforting warmth and refreshing flavours.
Score: 8.4
