Nose
Perfumy. Resinous, balsamic. Sun warmed pine needles. A distant note of juniper. Opening on freesia and blue bell aromas. A citrus touch. Strong balsamic character gives way to garden-like scents.
Palate
Light, silky. Fresh and crispy with a tangy feel. Fruity. Green apple, fresh lemon. Water takes off the sharpness.
Finish
Short, dry and clean with a nutty aftertaste, fresh crushed hazelnuts.
Comment
A refreshing and young whisky with an unusual balsamic character at first. It needs a dash of water to cut the edges. A summertime cooler.
