A pleasant example of a good Bourbon cask maturation. A good companion for a fish dish as well.

Nose: Delicate, elegant. Fresh sap. Lemon juice. Meadowsweet flowers. Orange blossom honey. Vanilla yoghurt.
Palate: Sweet and gently flowing. Alcohol is perfectly well mastered. A refreshing aniseed flavour with a hint of almond syrup.
Finish: Sweet, slowly fading. Minty.
Comment: A pleasant example of a good Bourbon cask maturation. A good companion for a fish dish as well.
Nose: Gentle and fresh, a quiet opener with delicate citrus notes, runny honey, Belgian waffles and rape seed fields in bloom.
Palate: The sweetness of the honey comes through with a vanilla syrup note. A gentle nutty edge, vanilla pods, not the seeds, and roast fennel.
Finish: Long, sweet, honeyed and lingering.
Comment: Despite that shy opening, everything is balanced nicely.
