Nose

Toffee sauce, warm earth, red fruits and orange marmalade. Water brings out sherried characteristics, coastal smoke and a mechanics workshop.

Palate

Very drying and rather scorched. A worrying sulphur note. Quite vegetal, it reminded me of roasted parsnips. Ginger heat and walnut oil, a bit dirty.

Finish

Drying and hot.

The heavier notes make it a bit of a challenge.
