Certainly a decent pre dinner drop, thinking it would work nicely with smoked meat I would think.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Huge juicy and lush on the nose, lots of apples and orange pith. Tinned orange segments in the sweet syrup. Hints of white pepper and a little spiced edge.

Palate: Quite oily at first and then opens into spiced minced meat and puff pastry. Almost has a menthol edge to it, then falls into those juicy fruits and citrus starts to dominate.

Finish: Quite warm with a touch of lavender water and that menthol note again.

Comment: Certainly a decent pre dinner drop, thinking it would work nicely with smoked meat I would think.

Taster

Nose: Hints of peardrops, plasticine and chargrilled pineapple slices begin to develop with fresh, herbal undertones of pine, bog myrtle and rose Turkish delights.

Palate: I’m confused…have I just been eating carrots? Genuinely. It tastes like carrots. Hints of peppermint, apple skin and cucumber follow with a sweet edge of candied lime.

Finish: With the addition of water, there is a slightly soapy finish.

Comment: Honestly, not my cup of tea… And I LOVE carrots.
